Anda Maqanda is the Founder and Managing Director of AM Group (Pty) Ltd. Born in 1984 and raised in Idutywa in the Eastern Cape in a rural area known as Chizele, Anda completed his junior grades at a local school. He holdsa Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and also a Masters Degree (MTech): Electrical Engineering.

Anda started his professional career at VW SA. He later joined CAE (Pty) Ltd, where he was responsible for Research and Development,before moving toMikosi and Associates as an Associate Engineer, responsible for Electrical Power and Renewable Energy projects. Anda later joined Eskom, working on Overhead Transmission Power projects, before branching out in 2008 to start his own engineering company, AM Group (Pty) Ltd.
